Vote for The Good of All

Welcome to Awareness for Everyone, an exploration of Conscious Reality Creation, and living the best lives we can for ourselves. I am MJ Blehart, writer, blogger, editor, and 21st century philosopher. This is Episode 81 – Vote for The Good of All

Get out there and vote

This election may be one of the most important in the history of the United States. It will signal to the world if we will see reason again – or continue down the path to oblivion we are presently on.

I do not care if you are liberal, conservative, middle-of-the-road, Republican, Democrat of whatever – the present administration is twisted, has nobody’s interests at heart but their own, and are hurting us far more than helping us.

The world is watching. We have an opportunity to change the direction in which we are heading.

Kindness and compassion are NOT weaknesses

When did it become a weakness to be kind? When did we decide that compassion is weakness?

Neither of these make you weak. This false equivalency is deeply unhealthy and is tearing the fabric of our society apart.

Why be unkind when you desire to receive kindness? If you desire compassion from people, why would you not be compassionate.

Good enough is good enough

Joe Biden is imperfect. The Democratic party is imperfect. But the Republican party has made it abundantly clear that if you are not straight, white, male, and Christian they couldn’t care less about you. And even then, they truly only care if you are ALSO super wealthy.

The Democrats are imperfect, but they truly welcome and embrace everyone, male, female, gay, straight, bi, black, Native American, etcetera.

There will NEVER be a perfect choice. It doesn’t exist because there are over 250 MILLION eligible voters in this nation – and we sure as hell will not ALL agree on anything.

But more votes equals more legitimate results.

Vote like your life depends on it this election

Because it probably does. Unless you come from a truly isolated area of the country – you have a friend or family member in danger.

Maybe they rely on health insurance they will lose without the Affordable Care Act – and more specifically its preexisting conditions protections. Your black friend could be shot by a cop for driving their car or going to a store because they are black – and the police will not be held accountable. Your gay friend may not be able to find work because they’re gay – and potential employers are being allowed to discriminate for “religious” reasons. A cousin might get sick from COVID-19 and die because the government is doing nothing to deal with this pandemic.

This is where we are at. Whether you have been impacted by the increasingly distressing government directly, indirectly, or not-at-all – someone you know has been. Or will be.

And you might be, too. Vote early if you can or get out on Tuesday, November 3rd and vote.
